Hey! Are you visiting "up north"? Why don't you make a little "game" out of it! Below are various photos taken throughout the northern areas of Michigan and Wisconsin. We'll give you a little hint, but you'll have to figure them out. The answers will be posted at the end of each month below the photos at the bottom of the page. New ones will be at the top. Since this is our first set of photos, they will be a little easier...this time...
Do you know where this is? We will give you a hint: It's a very famous spot near Munising and can be seen on the Pictured Rocks Boat Tours or by foot visiting the Pictured Rocks Cliffs area.

Do you know where this is? We will give you a hint: It's somewhere in Petoskey, MI and everyone drives over it but never seems to see this....
Do you know where this is? We will give you a hint: It's somewhere on an island in Lake Huron AND there was a movie made here starring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour....
Do you know where this is? We will give you a hint: It's somewhere on the northern most tip of the lower peninsula of Michigan near Mackinaw City....

This Coast Guard ship is located in Cheboygan, MI. The Coast Guard has had a presence in Cheboygan since 1944. They are busiest fall through spring per their website. This photo was taken from the Cheboygan County Marina area, 1080 N. Huron Street.
This is the South Pier Light in Charlevoix, MI. It is located on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. The address is 2 Grant Street and you can get more information at www.visitcharlevoix.com.
This is the Presque Isle Harbor Breakwater Lighthouse located in Marquette, MI at Presque Isle Park on Lake Superior.
This is the Saint Helena Island Lighthouse. It is located in Lake Michigan at the Straits of Mackinaw. You can get more information about it and other lighthouses at www.gllka.org.
This is St. Johns Luthern Church located in Cheboygan, MI on the corner of Riggsville Rd. and Church Road. The cemetery is located to the east of the building.
